West Ham congratulate Andre Ayew for sending Ghana to semis

Andre Ayew has been congratulated by the English Premier League side for scoring the match winner in Ghana’s 2-1 victory over DR Congo

Deputy Black Stars, Andre has been saluted by West Ham, after helping Ghana to reach the semi finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Jordan Ayew started the scoring for Black Stars, before M’poku put the Leopards level, but Andre Ayew finished off from the spot, after Christian Atsu was  brought down to win the day for the Black Stars.

Andre Ayew, who was signed by West Hma United at a £20.6m club record fee has been praised by his team for scoring the goal that settled the score between Ghana and DR Congo.

Ghana will battle it out with Cameroon on Thursday for a place in the finals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
