Dr Gabriel Benarkuu, the President of the College of Organization Development (COD), says Ghana’s democratic advancement would create numerous investment opportunities in the coming years.

He said the nation’s performance at the 2016 general elections gave a further boost to Ghana’s democratic credentials.

“The political maturity, good governance system and peaceful co-existence are elements that boost investor confidence in a country,” he stated.

Dr Benarkuu expressed the observation at a “Talk Show” organized by the leadership of the St Peter’s Catholic Church, Fiapre, near Sunyani, as part of activities by the congregation to mark the year in retrospect.

He spoke on the topic, “Prospects and Opportunities for Entrepreneurs,” and said the developed world felt safer and more secured to invest in a stable state and economy.

The COD President cited areas like Information and Communication Technology (ICT) investment, real estate development, agro-business, especially cashew production with public private partnership (PPP) and voluntarism through non-government organizations that would receive massive attention for business growth and development.

Dr Bemarkuu, therefore, urged Ghanaians to brace themselves up to take advantage of the opportunities that come with the new political dispensation, to improve our lots and transform our nation.

He also called on Ghanaian entrepreneurs to engage the media to promote their businesses in order to secure their brands and enhance profitability
