Ghana’s Electoral Commission has admitted to the missing of six ballot boxes and assured Ghanaians that the missing ballot boxes will be replaced before the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on December 7, 2016.

The boxes were alleged to have fallen off from a pick up truck carrying them to the Western Region. The Electoral Commission in a post on its Facebook made the admission and stated that a report has been made to the police and the ballot boxes will be replaced.
