Mahama lacks courage to stop ‘violent’ NDC members – Akufo-Addo

nanaaddo2The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate has berated President John Mahama for failing to reprimand some ministers he has described as violent.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said the President has acted unconcern while NPP members are being violently attacked by functionaries of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) across the country.

‘He doesn’t care [because] he doesn’t have the strength of character to reprimand them and tell them to stop what they are doing,’ he said.

The NPP leader made these remarks on Thursday when he addressed party supporters at Hwidiem in the Asutifi South Constituency of the Brong Ahafo Region.

Mr Akufo-Addo’s comment comes barely hours after some NPP members were allegedly manhandled by some members of the NDC led by the Sports Minister, Nii Lantei Vanderpuiye at Odododiodoo Constituency in the Greater Accra Region Wednesday.
